The Nemours Wildlife Foundation offers several seasonal internship positions for students majoring in wildlife biology. Interns are provided housing and work on Nemours Plantation located in northern Beaufort County near Yemassee, SC. Duties include assisting biologists in ongoing research projects including bobwhite quail ecology, prescribed burning, snake and amphibian population monitoring, songbird inventory, and other environmental monitoring and assessment programs. Interns will also have the opportunity to be involved in plantation management activities.

Qualifications: These internships are available to students pursuing a degree in wildlife biology. Successful completion of some core courses such as wildlife management, wildlife techniques, ornithology, herpetology, or mammalogy is preferred. The student must be prepared and willing to work outdoors and have a valid driving license.
