Running short on engaging science lessons for your classroom? We’ve got you covered! Our Traveling Trunks are kits packed full of resources and activities that deliver immersive experiences. Through touch, sight, and sound, Traveling Trunks create a rich nature experience for your classroom. Our resource lending program is FREE for young learners and their educators. Traveling Trunks can be checked out from Nemours for a month at a time; the only requirement, educators pick up Traveling Trunks in-person. We cannot deliver them to your school, library, community center, or other learning site.
Each Traveling Trunk focuses on a different topic related to environmental education. Our first Traveling Trunk explores bird migration, incorporating activities that feature the Motus Wildlife Tracking System. This Traveling Trunk is in development, but should be ready for checkout in late 2024. Check back in for updates and to see our evolving Trunk selection.
